Event Information


Our annual Sailing Fever Dinner is fast approaching. The date has been set for Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Kingfishers Seafood House on Solomons Island. The festivities will commence at 6PM in the up-stair’s Crow’s Nest with Hors D’oeuvres being served. Dinner will be served at 7:30PM after welcoming remarks from our Commodore, Tim Holland.

Choice of four entrees will be available with a bottomless selection of non-alcoholic beverages, desserts and coffee. Dinner selections include :

Filet Mignon…a 6 oz. filet mignon grilled medium-rare over a cabernet demi-glaze
Neptune Platter…two sea scallops, two shrimp, a petite crab cake, and a filet of cod broiled in chardonnay butter
Chesapeake…broiled chicken breast stuffed with creamy crab imperial 
Albert Special...four jumbo fried shrimp and two crab balls

Cost is $37 per person. The club traditionally absorbs the cost of hors d’oeuvres, tax, gratuity and dessert. A cash bar will be available. Your dinner selection and that of your guest can be made at time of registration, along with payment. Space is limited, so sign up early! Cutoff date is Tuesday, February 12. This year’s theme is “Let’s go Sailing!”…so wear your favorite sailing shirt, hat or ‘Foulies’!
